Situation
Consumption readings were scattered across systems that could not see each other, and reports were assembled by hand.

How we read the numbers on this site: The figures in these studies come from people inside those operations – engineers and managers who dug the savings out of their own data. They are not audited or officially approved; companies do not publish numbers like these. That is why we do not name the customers, and why every figure says where it comes from.
Result
Following the prices, the company moved the heating of injection moulds from 6:00 to 4:30 – the difference in the electricity price was large enough to make paying overtime worthwhile, and elsewhere to move the whole shift. Where production allowed, part of it moved to the weekend, when prices are far lower and occasionally negative. Cost €16,310, annual saving €21,700 – 12 % of the electricity bill.
Honest numbers
Deployed in 2022; energy prices reflect that period. The platform licence is not included in this calculation. The figure is lower than the sample setup on the pricing page because existing meters were connected rather than new sub-metering being built.
