Compressed air audit and monitoring
Situation
A compressed air leak is neither visible nor audible over plant noise. Compressors make up for it with higher output – electricity consumption and compressor wear both rise.
Solution
Continuous measurement of flow, pressure and dew point. A leak you cannot hear over plant noise reveals itself over a weekend or any natural shutdown: nobody is there, nothing is being produced – and if consumption and flow still do not drop to zero, air is escaping somewhere. Nothing has to be stopped for this; the system measures even when the hall is empty.

Result
The company located the leaks that way and fixed them. Every new one announces itself on the very next weekend rather than at the annual audit – so the compressors no longer make up the loss with higher output and do not wear out running for nothing. Audit and measurement cost €15,300, annual saving €71,300.

We do not have the year of deployment on record; the amounts reflect prices at the time. The investment covers hardware and deployment; the platform price is not included. The saving was calculated by the customer on their own data.
