How we read the numbers on this site: The figures in these studies come from people inside those operations – engineers and managers who dug the savings out of their own data. They are not audited or officially approved; companies do not publish numbers like these. That is why we do not name the customers, and why every figure says where it comes from.
Result
The measured utilisation showed that the planned purchase of two more forklifts was unnecessary – and after adjusting processes the company managed with one fewer forklift than before. Cost €21,570; first-year saving €197,800 – mostly the deferred purchase of two forklifts, the rest the operating costs of the parked one at the prices of the time.
Honest numbers
A first-year saving, not a recurring annual one: the largest part is the one-off deferred investment in two forklifts, the smaller part the saved operation of the parked one (energy, servicing). The saving was calculated by the customer on their own data. Deployed in 2022; the amounts reflect prices of that period. The platform price is not included.
