Label pairing check
Situation
Internal, warehouse and customer labels did not match. The error surfaced at the customer – a complaint and a contractual penalty.
Solution
Before dispatch, an application checks that the internal product number matches the customer’s. It shows any mismatch to the operator immediately and records it in WorkSys.Space, so every failed pairing attempt is visible on a chart.
How we read the numbers on this site: The figures in these studies come from people inside those operations – engineers and managers who dug the savings out of their own data. They are not audited or officially approved; companies do not publish numbers like these. That is why we do not name the customers, and why every figure says where it comes from.
Result
Faulty deliveries are caught before dispatch, not at the customer. And because every caught attempt is counted in the system, the company knows how many faulty deliveries would otherwise have left – and how much it did not pay in contractual penalties and complaints. Cost €8,960, annual saving €93,000.
Honest numbers
We do not have the year of deployment on record; the amounts reflect prices at the time. The investment covers hardware and deployment; the platform price is not included. The saving was calculated by the customer on their own data.
